mïrändä and I wrote i got lies remotely as we were on opposite sides of the country at the time. after finishing most of the production, i reached out to her to lay some vocals down on top—and she basically just nailed it first try. the goal was truly just to make a really good summer pop track—and we did. i directed and edited the music video, with us again having to shoot remotely with green screens. the artwork comes from my “pattern series” photography project—those are my legs. this track ended up doing extremely well, getting a number of spotify placements that caused it to get a significant amount of listenership quite quickly.
