donormaal and welp disney reached out to me to take the rough mixes of their project to the final stages. it was deeply sonically layered, and the mixing process was quite extensive—this was more akin to production than mixing at the start—our process was quite collaborative, and i was able to use a lot of unconventional methods to get elements to pop out where we needed them. mastering was a challenge, as we needed to maintain some serious volume without sacrificing fidelity for all the production elements, but eventually we worked this into a final product that holds clarity while still being able to absolutely blow out my car speakers.
